Experienced Florist
Botanics of Melbourne is a thriving wedding and events floral studio seeking a talented and motivated florist to join our team on a casual basis, with the opportunity for full-time employment for the right person.
This is a varied and hands-on role working across weddings, events and corporate florals. We’re looking for someone who is creative, reliable and happy to jump into all aspects of the business – from flower preparation and making through to event installations and pack downs.
About the Role
• Flower preparation and processing for weddings, events and corporate clients
• Creating bouquets, arrangements and large-scale event florals
• Assisting with wedding and event installations, bump-ins and bump-outs
• Transporting flowers and event items to venues across Melbourne
• Deliveries for regular corporate clients
• Supporting busy production periods and market runs
• General Studio Support
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the floristry industry
• Strong knowledge of flower varieties and seasonality
• Excellent floristry and design skills with a keen eye for detail
• Physically fit – heavy lifting and fast-paced work is a key part of the role
• Available for early starts (2–3 mornings per week)
• Flexible availability including weekends and occasional evening events
• Manual Australian driver’s licence and confidence driving vans or small trucks
• Comfortable driving throughout Melbourne

Weekly Corporate Delivery Driver
We are looking for a reliable delivery driver every Monday morning (6am–9am) delivering flowers from Prahran into the Melbourne CBD.
Details: Every Monday 6:00am – 9:00am (approx. 3 hours) Pickup from Prahran Deliveries within Melbourne CBD Ongoing work for the right person
Requirements:
Reliable and punctual (early start is essential)
Careful driver – flowers are fragile
Well Presented as will be representing the business to our corporate clients
Own van preferred Alternatively you can drive our manual van Valid driver’s licence
Bonus Work Available: Opportunity for extra paid shifts helping with event deliveries and setup (flexible hours).
